The Olden Days:

I sold insurance door to door. I sold copiers and fax machines door to door. I sold printing software over the phone and in face-to-face sales calls. I took a thousand Nos to get one Yes. I did the dog and pony demo show. I notched hundreds of “death by powerpoint” kills on my laptop.

But it wasn’t until I met Perry Marshall that I discovered I could leverage what I loved about sales…

  • writing winning sales copy
  • obsessing over the psychology of persuasion

and ditch what I didn’t like about sales

  • cold calling
  • filling out reports
  • wrestling with “sales prevention departments”

and create my own career. Choose whom I want to work with and whom I don’t. Be my own boss. Love what I do.
